1,000 Jesus film DVDs
Beginning the first week of May, we begin the door-to-door distribution of about 1,000 Jesus film DVDs in our majority-Muslim neighbourhood. Along with this effort we are spearheading a community cleanup in a badly littered park nearby. Pray for open hearts and homes.

To help us get started, a team of 6 college students led by ABWE Canada president David Smith will be here for 8 full days. They will all be staying with us at the newly refurbished church manse we reside in.

For several months now, we have operated a men's English conversation group for immigrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh. Pray for newlywed Addy (and wife Simone), Mr. Amen, and several others who have come occasionally. We hope for growth over time as the word gets out and people see they can trust us.

Karen's Contacts
Continue to pray for Aisha a young mother who continues to be tutored in English on a weekly basis. Her whole family needs the Lord. Thank you for praying for Bea. God is blessing in her life and bringing growth the many challenges of her difficult background.

Economic Woes
Here in the UK, we know quite a number who have lost their jobs or are having difficulties financially. We are also aware that some of you are struggling in similar ways. Consequently, we have lost some financial support as certain churches have cut back on missions giving. So far we are able to manage, and our prayer is that God would prosper his people as they choose to put him first. But even if God does not prosper us all financially, may we resolve to be content and serve him faithfully by word and deed. Did you know that UK Christians do not personally receive tax deductions for their giving?

Family News
Please pray for our children who are still in their first year of not having Mom and Dad close at hand. It is especially difficult for our youngest daughter Angelie who did a 5 month mission trip to Africa last year. She is living in a new city, away from her siblings as well as her old friends. She is working hard to save money for nursing college next year. Months ago we booked airfare to visit our children in Canada for a couple of weeks in the summer. And let's not forget the grandchild and our old dog!

Thank you for reading this, praying and giving. We appreciate very much your interest.
