Exciting days are ahead! Karen and I appreciate so much that you continue to support us in prayer as we move into the future.

Another Wedding!
Our middle daughter, Alisa is going to be married this year. This will be the third King child tying the knot in as many years. The date is July 12th, giving Alisa time to get ready after the school year finishes in May. We are very happy about her choice of Adam Gagne as her future husband. He is a good Christian man with a passion for the Lord's work.

Birmingham Church
We are glad to report that our December meetings with the Birmingham church went very well. The tiny church will sponsor us so we may receive permission to serve in England as a 'minister of religion'. In turn, we hope to be a blessing to the struggling congregation and see the church prosper in an ethnically-diverse neighbourhood. Muslims constitute 21.3% of the local population (census), and are growing in number! The church will also support us financially, completing our support requirements for the next two years. Praise God with us.

So we expect to be able to leave for England in the spring. Exactly how that will pan out with Alisa's July wedding remains to be seen. Perhaps we will go in the spring and return for the wedding, or perhaps I will go alone to make preparations for Karen's later arrival. Pray for wisdom in our planning.

"Wisdom has built her house " (Prov. 9:1)
We have not yet listed our house for sale, in the hope that we can hold on to it. It would be wise to be building equity so we have a home for our retirement years. But we still have a mortgage to pay that requires two reliable renters (for our home's 2 'flats'). Our daughter Amy and her husband are interested in the idea, but we have yet to locate a second trustworthy renter. If we must sell, we will do so, and perhaps that is wise from another perspective. Pray for us in this difficult matter.

Adam in Nicaragua
Yes, our oldest son Adam is in Nicaragua as you read this. You can read about his exploratory trip yourself at his "Trade Mission Blog" at http://blog.christiantrademission.com/

Annual Ministry Report
We have written a one-page ministry report for 2007 and if you would like one, please contact us to request it. We have composed it for your convenience.

Thank you for praying, encouraging, and giving,

George for all
