We are now officially grandparents! Our oldest son Adam and his wife Autumn, gave us our first grandchild on Saturday, June 2nd. Her name is Ebony and she weighed in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. See the attached photo.

Our recent trip to Birmingham excited Karen and I about the prospects of ministry there. The first church we visited there is small and in some ways, struggling to re-invent itself to minister effectively in a changing neighbourhood. What was once a predominantly white area is now racially mixed. It is said that when homes are sold they are generally being purchased by Asians.

It would be great to participate in the life and ministry of a church like that, and help it think of ways to reach out to the growing Muslim population all around it. Pray with us about the future. We have much fund-raising to do as our monthly support has not grown at all. If we didn't have to pay rent/mortgage and utilities, we would be pretty well all set. Pray with us about new financial supporters.

You can see some photos we took of our trip by contacting us for the proper weblink.

Two events coming up in July are our daughter Amy's wedding on July 14th, and my teaching on Islam at ABWE's Core Ministries Institute (CMI). This is an evangelism training time for new missionaries and I will be working with the ones heading to Muslim nations.

Thank you for praying!

George for all
