Hello from George and Karen and family! Thank you for glancing at the brief items below:

England Ministry
For over five years now, we have had interest and involvement in a developing ABWE ministry called the "Antioch Project" in the city of Birmingham, England. Back in February, George travelled there once again to touch base with colleagues living there. Aside from some encouragement and training George was able to impart, the project website and brochure were finalized. One of the main goals of the Antioch Project is to equip Birmingham churches to effectively share Good News with the many 1000s of dear Muslims who make that great city their home.

London Seminar
George led a historic Muslim Awareness Seminar for London, Ontario at Glen Cairn Baptist Church on March 31 and April 1. For a first-time effort it seemed to go very well. Approximately 50 people from a variety of London area churches endured a crash course on Islam taught by 6 "experts", and learned practical ways to reach out with the love of Christ. PRAY that it will produce tangible results of new ministries in those churches represented.

Karen's Adventures in English
Karen is studying advanced level courses in Teaching English as a Second Language through the University of Saskatchewan thanks to the church we attend, Central Baptist in Brantford. The church has appreciated the positive impact her Bible class for Internationals has had, adding new faces of various immigrants to the makeup of the growing congregation. She tutors English students privately as well, and teaches literacy classes at the local public library. PRAY for Karen as she writes an exam on April 15.

Response on the Web
People often ask George if he gets threats or other troubles from angry people because of his internet ministry. Actually, very seldom does that happen. George's online ministry is not overtly critical of the faith of others, but seeks to simply share the good news of Christ in ways inquirers will understand. As a result, most newcomers are friendly and looking for answers to questions. Here are some recent comments:

MO says: ...For my whole life I have been taught that the Jews and Christians altered their holy books... I need to read the Bible to know the truth.

E.B. says: [In a dream, Jesus] came to me and showed me a road indicating that 'this is tne right path". I am an atheist but I want to know about Christianity.

Z says: Who am I, what am I doing, what is good for me and what's my end? Always I get a headache after thinking like this. I want peace of mind and I am ashamed that I cannot go to our religious leaders. I do not believe them. ...I do not want any one of my family to know I contacted a Christian. I want to keep it between me and you.

Pray, pray, pray for the thousands of disillusioned, searching people around the world that these three represent.

Finally, pray for the King family. We feel the pressure and stress of spiritual warfare in our lives which manifests itself in various family, financial, and personal struggles. We appreciate your interest.

Yours,

George and Karen and family
